St Swithin’s Day event

Join us for an evening of music and talk in celebration of St Swithin
with best-selling author and art historian Amy Jeffs. Amy has carved
out an incredibly successful niche, writing and illustrating books on
the lives and legends of the Middle Ages, blending history, myth, and
storytelling.

Amy will be joined in conversation by Bookseller and Compton
Bassett resident Jeff Wheeler, as they discuss the cult of St Swithin
and the strange and wonderful saints of the medieval world.
Accompanying Amy during the event will be musician Natalie Brice,
to perform some specially chosen medieval English ballads.

The discussion will conclude with a Q&A and book signing.
